These are vintage Bausch & Lomb eyeglasses from the 1940s. Known as one of Americas three major eyeglass manufacturers, the brand has a history spanning over 150 years. However, since B&L and Ray-Ban were the last to produce eyeglasses, these vintage frames are rare. The RIMWAY style, with its two-point design secured only by bridge and temple hinges and a framed upper section, offers a clean look. These frames feature only a top bar and no bridge, resulting in a small number of lenses. They are a rare find, offering a good size and a modern silhouette thats easy to wear. They are gold-plated in 12kt-Yellow Gold. Newly fitted, pale grayish purple UV lenses have been installed. (As this is a store-bought item, there may be some light scuffs.) They have been inspected and serviced by an optician. The temples (or rakes) can be adjusted to the desired bend. (Please contact your local optician.) While the condition has been carefully inspected, as this is a vintage item, there may be some scuffs and scratches. Please understand the characteristics of vintage and antique items before purchasing. All of our glasses are maintained and lens replaced at g room, an eyewear store in Ebisu, Tokyo.
