[ALVISTA] 8th issue Vol. 1. 2026 S/S This pullover vest is based on a US vintage sports vest, likely from the 1920s or 1930s. The front and back feature a ribbed and striped design using super bright yarn, creating an impactful look with a contrasting color and suede-like surface texture. The ribbed design also gives the garment a slight stretch in the lateral direction, improving comfort. The natural fit allows for comfortable wear both inside out. The lining is made of acetate satin, which has a finely textured surface for a vintage look, and is intentionally turned inside out to create a back satin. The front zipper uses Talon for a more vintage look, and is washed once during production to give it a natural look.

This is an interlock fabric (knitted - cut and sew) made with split yarn, which is made by opening up two types of fibers through processing to create a multi-fiber structure. Using a special process from a world-class Japanese company specializing in synthetic fiber processing, the fabric is packed to the limit, resulting in a unique fabric with a texture resembling high-density woven fabric, making it hard to believe its cut and sew. The characteristics of the split yarn and the special processing give the surface a smooth, peach-like texture, reminiscent of nubuck leather. While synthetic fibers generally do not change over time, this processing characteristic allows the surface to develop unique creases and wear with repeated wear and washing, further enhancing the fabrics unique appearance.
