The USS Vesole DD878 is an American destroyer built in 1944, and this souvenir jacket, called a tour jacket, was made to commemorate its 1946 Asian cruise.
This gorgeous outfit is embroidered with the names of the places they visited and dragons and ships with an oriental feel.
The soft wool body and deep black color give it a solid look.
It has a short length and a strong vintage feel, with a clean silhouette and just the right amount of room, and there are repair marks in various places.
