This work jacket from the late 1940s features an embroidered image of a major American oil and gas station, Sunoko. Large embroidery and patches extend to the back for an impactful customization, with the back embroidery a rare feature. The sturdy recycled wool Melton fabric, rare for such an early model, has small holes and damage throughout, but the aging gives it a rich black color and a sophisticated look. It fits a sleek size, approximately 38, and features a three-dimensional pattern throughout and flare-out sleeves for a mannish silhouette reminiscent of a biker jacket.
