This is a signet ring from the American secret society Patriotic Order Sons of America, dating back to the 1930s.
The front features a shield motif emblem and beautiful enamel work in the red, white, and blue colors of the American flag, with a precisely engraved silhouette of George Washingtons profile within the central five-spoked star.
The sides of the arms feature elegant arabesque engravings reminiscent of the Art Deco period of the early 1900s.
The metal, which has matured over many years into a beautiful, muted rose gold sheen, exudes an incredible aura unique to antiques.
