This is a vintage military Korean souvenir silver ring from 1947.
The front features a marquise-shaped black onyx with a facet cut at its center, flanked by a total of four round black stones, and surrounded by a multi-layered design with milgrain detailing and a wavy scalloped bezel.
The arm of the watch features the year 1947 and a star on one side, and the word KOREA and a star on the other, suggesting it was made by an early US soldier stationed on the Korean Peninsula.
The patina that has completely settled into the silver grooves over many years exudes the authentic style that only vintage pieces can offer.
Stamped with Silver.
