From our original remake line, Pimpstick, comes this remade wide baggy denim, luxuriously crafted from two rare vintage Levis 501s that have been deconstructed and reconstructed.
The indigo body has been bleached, setting it apart from ordinary white pants. There is none of the dryness or thinning of the fabric that is typical of bleached fabrics. The thick, tough, heavyweight cotton weave, characteristic of 9 Old Fabric, is maintained, resulting in an exquisite texture.
By using two pairs of denim, the garment achieves an overwhelmingly wide silhouette unlike anything found in typical vintage clothing. Deep inward pleats at the waist accentuate the volume around the hips, and the garment is meticulously tailored to create an elegant and flowing drape with every step.
The front features a button fly, and a gusset is incorporated into the crotch to eliminate the fabric tension typical of wide-leg pants, ensuring the front silhouette looks as beautiful and elegant as possible.
