This is a military silver ring from the 1950s, made by Clark & Coombs, a long-established American jewelry manufacturer.
The bezel is engraved with UNITED STATES ARMY, a large oval-cut redstone is set in the center, and on the sides of the arms, the American eagle, the national bird of the United States and a symbol of supreme authority, is deeply and symmetrically engraved with thick, three-dimensional detail, from its sharp claws to its tail feathers.
The patina that has completely set in the silver grooves and eagle wings over many years gives it an authentic, dignified look.
C&C STERLING silver hallmark.
