This is a 1980 US Navy tour jacket.
The USS. KALAMAZOO AOR-6 was an American destroyer built in 1973, and this souvenir jacket, known as a tour jacket, was made to commemorate its Mediterranean cruise in 1980.
This luxurious garment features embroidery of the place names visited, an eagle, and the American flag on the back, with place name patches on both arms and the chest.
The rough-textured wool body and deep black color give it a solid, substantial look.
Its a short length with a strong vintage feel, and has a clean silhouette thats comfortably loose.
