Around the 1980s Vintage [American Optical] glasses. The worlds oldest eyeglass maker, commonly known as AO, is the worlds oldest eyeglass maker. Today, fashion frames are not produced and are very popular. Safety glasses used in factories at that time are fashionable Wellington type and easy to wear, and this is a more utility item because there is no windshield to make goggles and there is no installation. After being produced until around the 1980s, another company bought the mold and made it, so nowadays, the ones of that age are rare. It features a precious large size and a grayish clear frame that is familiar to the face and has a feeling of intimidation. We have newly added a light gray purple UV lens that has been maintained at the eyeglass store. The size of the temple wire (nawate) can be adjusted. (At a spectacle store near you) There is a patina inside the temple, but it doesnt bother me because its hidden by my hair. Although it is difficult to understand when wearing it, scratches can be seen on the right temple mounting position. Please check the photo. We have scrutinized the condition, but since it is a vintage item, there are threads and scratches. Please purchase after understanding the characteristics of vintage and antique.
