Vintage [Bausch & Lomb] glasses from the late 1930s. Known as one of Americas top three eyewear manufacturers, the brand has a history of over 150 years, but since B&L Ray-Ban was the last to make eyeglasses in modern times, its vintage frames are a rarity. A full-view Boston round frame with curved temples on the top, jewelry craftsmen who lost their jobs during the First World War showed their skills in the eyewear industry, which was in rapid demand, and a whole that can only be seen in this era. The delicate engraving on the rim is also attractive. It has a soft round silhouette with a slightly side-mounted feel, and a solid frame with high quality workmanship. It is a gold-plated specification of 12Kt-Yellow Gold. New clear UV lenses are included. (Because it is an over-the-counter product, there may be light scratches.) It has been appraised and maintained by an optician, and the size of the temple (or rope) can be adjusted. (At a nearby eyeglass shop) Although the condition has been carefully examined, there are scratches and scuffs as this is a vintage product. Please purchase after understanding the characteristics of vintage and antique. All of our eyeglasses are maintained and lens exchanged at g room, an eyewear store in Ebisu, Tokyo.
Lens length: 39mm
Lens width: 42mm
Bridge width: 24mm
Frame width (from temple corner to corner): 11.8cm
Temple size: Full length 16.6cm
