A Canadian workwear manufacturer founded in 1939, we continue to make clothes that support work in extremely cold regions.
This is a hydro parka designed by the founder for hydroelectric power workers who expanded the power grid across Canada, and was popular with other workers due to its cold protection and durability.
A thick cotton duck fabric is used, and the long pile fur lining and quilted liner add protection against the cold.
It features pockets that make use of the pattern on the front and a detachable hood.
This is from around the 1980s and is still made today, but it is a rare vintage item.
The navy has faded and has a unique grayish feel, giving it an old-fashioned appearance.
