It is a Knox [KNOX] fedora hat in the late 1950s. [KNOX] is a long-established hatter founded in NY Manhattan in 1838, and is a high-end manufacturer representing the United States that once used [KNOX] hats by successive presidents. Knox features a crown silhouette that makes you feel solid, dignified and gentlemanly. This is a high-end line sold for $15. The high-quality beaver felt has a soft yet firm texture. The 6cm cabana edge (with felted brim end) brim with a center dent silhouette, and the pleated ribbon are also characteristic of this eras mannish specifications. Rare large size, slightly aged, but in good vintage condition. Box is not included. Since it is an old one, there is rare deterioration over time.
