Royal Stetson fedora hat from the late 1950s. It started in Philadelphia in 1865 and made high quality hats until the factory was closed and burned down around 1974, and its vintage has entertained many celebrities and collectors. This is a model-Diplomat with an overwelt stitch on the brim end. It is an expression that gives you a sense of mannishness, which is the identity of the brand, while showing an elegant formal feeling. The fine and smooth beaver felt and the deep dark brown color combined with the ribbon create a sense of unity. Slightly waviness on the sweatband, otherwise in good overall condition. It is a long oval and slightly larger than the usual 7 1/4, and does not come with a box. Since it is an old one, there is rare deterioration over time.
