1930s vintage [American Optical] glasses. The model WELFREX is a delicately constructed frame that has a lens attached with only two screws, giving it a more elegant impression. A raised bridge and punt-style lenses give it a more antique feel. Rare large size in this age. Recommended for women as the temples are short. We have a new light brown UV lens. It has been appraised and maintained by an optician, and the size of the temple (or rope) can be adjusted. (At a nearby eyeglass shop) Although the condition has been carefully examined, there are scratches and scuffs as this is a vintage product. Please purchase after understanding the characteristics of vintage and antique. All of our eyeglasses are maintained and lens exchanged at g room, an eyewear store in Ebisu, Tokyo.
