1960s vintage [Tart Optical Enterprises Inc.] glasses. Tarto Optical was founded in New York in 1948 and took advantage of the self-frame trend that began at that time to become popular, but since it lasted only about half a century, it has a small number of balls even in the vintage market and is a sophisticated frame that can be said to be an eternal standard. Has become a valuable book with many reproductions. This is an icon among vintage glasses that has been used by model Arnel, James Dean influenced by beatnik culture, and Johnny Depp, and has also appeared in numerous movies. The ebony black color, which is rare in recent years, has a more minimal and solid look. There are some scratches, but it has been polished at an opticians shop. In addition, it is in good condition with sufficient moisture content, and is a high-quality individual. New clear UV lenses are included. It has been appraised and maintained by an optician, and the size of the temple (or rope) can be adjusted. (At a nearby eyeglass shop) Although the condition has been carefully examined, there are scratches and scuffs as this is a vintage product. Please purchase after understanding the characteristics of vintage and antique. All of our eyeglasses are maintained and lens exchanged at g room, an eyewear store in Ebisu, Tokyo.
