It is said that spoon rings originated around the 17th century, when servants of aristocrats stole their masters cutlery because they could not afford wedding rings. Hippies discovered it in the 1960s and it was revived. Many of these items are made by long-established American silverware manufacturers that date back to the 19th century, so I dont know the manufacturer because there are no hallmarks on these items, but I think they are vintage from the 1930s to the 1960s based on the design. Even though it is a classic spiral shape, it has a firm thickness and is delicate yet has an atmosphere. Sterling stamp. As this is a vintage item, there may be scuffs and scratches.
