Vintage [Tart Optical Enterprises Inc.] glasses from the 1960s. Tart Optical was founded in New York in 1948, capitalizing on the cell frame trend that started at that time, and after making it popular, it only lasted about half a century, so even in the vintage market, the number of balls is small, and it is a sophisticated frame that can be said to be an eternal standard. There are many reproductions of this book, making it a valuable piece. This is a major model like Model Brian, FDR, and Arnel, and features a simple and strong frame design. Eyewear icon Woody Allen is also known to have worn them. The color is a smoked brown fade that becomes clear towards the center. The temples are in a different color. We have newly installed thin purple-gray UV lenses. It has been inspected and maintained at an eyeglass store, and the size of the temples (or ropes) can be adjusted to adjust the degree of curvature.
