It is a [US ARMY] type M-1951 parka from the 1950s.
A fishtail parka for the U.S. ground forces to protect against the extreme cold, following the previous M48 that was adopted in the 1950s.
In the 1960s, many surplus items arrived in Britain, and young people who loved mod culture started wearing them, and they came to be called mod parkas.
Compared to the later model 65 parka, it has an integrated hood, has epaulets, and is made of cotton nylon satin fabric with a strong yellowish tone.
The coyote fur on the hood is in good condition with no loose parts.
Complete set with liner and hood, rare Small size for a clean silhouette.
