It began when American soldiers stationed at the Yokosuka US military base ordered it as a commemorative gift shortly after World War II.
Since then, they have been made all over the world, but the ones from the 1950s and 1960s are rare and have many collectors, and are traded at high prices.
This is a ready-made type produced by some manufacturer around the 1980s.
The oriental tiger embroidery is applied and the soft inserts unique to vintage enhance the overall atmosphere.
Its a precious size that can be worn loosely, and the silhouette fits beautifully.
There are stains, aging, and fading, but there is no major damage and it is still in wearable condition.
