This is an award jacket from the 1960s.
In Japan, they are called stadium jumpers, but in America they are called Varsity/Lettermans.
The custom of wearing patches (letters) is said to have started at Harvard University, and is still awarded to players with excellent results and is adopted by powerful schools.
The body is melton wool that has become stiff due to age, the sleeves are soft cow leather, the mustard body and solid black color scheme have a good atmosphere, and the presence of the patch is also a highlight.
