An open-collar shirt from the 1950s. A rare deadstock item, made of rayon/acetate fabric from COHAMA, an American fabric manufacturer popular for its vintage fabrics at high-end department stores such as Emporium. The dobby-like uneven texture and bluish pink color give it a very luxurious and elegant look. It has a resort feel, but also a formality not found in catalog manufacturers of this era. The hand stitching in various places is typical of this era, and the beautifully preserved bakelite buttons are also attractive. Deadstock items may have tatami-colored marks, but this item is in better condition. It is a size M, but has the same roominess as a size L, giving it a well-balanced silhouette. Since it is an old item, it may occasionally deteriorate over time. Please check the photos and be aware of the characteristics of vintage items before purchasing.
