These are vintage American Optical glasses from the 1950s. These safety glasses were used in factories at the time, and the Wellington style has an old-fashioned feel and is easy to wear. The rare yellow clear frame gives it a light and sophisticated look, and the temple angles are lowered, making it a silhouette that fits well on the face. We have newly installed light green UV lenses that are similar to the lenses of the time. They have been authenticated and maintained at an eyeglass store, and the temples (or rope handles) can be adjusted to the desired bend. (At your local eyeglass store) We have carefully examined the condition, but as these are vintage items, there may be some scratches and scuffs. Please understand the characteristics of vintage and antique items before purchasing. All of our glasses are maintained and lens replaced at g room, an eyeglass store in Ebisu, Tokyo.
