[ALVISTA] 6th issue Vol 2. 2024AW A cardigan jacket inspired by the stole style worn by women of the Sami people, an ethnic minority group in the Lapland region (northern Norway, Sweden, Finland, and some parts of Russia). The style of wearing it by wrapping it around the body has been replaced with a modern style and reconstructed as a wearable stole. The fringe processing on the hem and cuffs, which are remnants of the stole, is the highlight, and although it is a simple cardigan-type jacket, it looks great just by putting it on. The buttons are machined and made of buffalo buttons that give each piece a different feel, and the cord is made of genuine leather suede cord.
MATERIAL
100% wool
: A poplin fabric made from Bulgarian Highland wool, which lives in the mountainous region of Bulgaria and is characterized by its extremely high crimp. Due to the characteristics of the wool, it is difficult to comb, and worsted yarn is generally used, but by using double yarns vertically and delicate single yarns horizontally and adjusting the weaving standards, it is a material with a worsted-like texture. By shrinking and washing, the strong crimp of Bulgarian Highland wool creates a texture on the surface of the fabric, and the fabric is characterized by a light, fluffy, delicate texture.
