[ALVISTA] 7th issue Vol 1. 2025SS This item is based on the 50s distinctive T-shaped drizzler jacket, commonly known as the Ricky Jacket. The original had a slightly angular form that was characteristic of the era, but it has been updated to a slightly rounded pattern to suit the modern atmosphere. The tucks incorporated into the T-shaped switching on the front body and the gathers on the back yoke add movement while accentuating the shadows of the fabric. The cotton rib uses an original pattern knitted with reference to the knitting of the time. The lining is made of cotton cupra twill washer finish with a natural wrinkled texture, taking into consideration the balance with the texture. The front zipper uses a Talon zipper with an emphasis on the era and atmosphere, and the slider top is a type commonly known as a bar Talon. The photo shows a size M.
MATERIAL
100% linen
: The front loop is made of 60-count linen yarn, and the back is made of 80/2 warp/40/1 cotton yarn. This is a rare linen loop pile fabric that can only be made in a limited number of factories in Japan, as it is very delicate and requires advanced techniques. In addition, the dyeing is done by hand in small batches by skilled craftsmen, carefully and painstakingly, resulting in a color tone with a sense of depth. In order to make the most of the linen texture, the fabric is not dried mechanically after dyeing, but is instead dried in the sun over a long period of time to create a dry texture. The texture and color tone are different from the typical image of velvet, making it a very atmospheric material.
